Penn State students selected for Goldwater Scholarship
The 2018 Goldwater Scholars were announced at the end of March and we're proud to have Taylor Baum and Rosalie Sowers both named recipients, and Rory Bowens named as an honorable mention. They were selected from over 1,200 nominated students across the U.S. They were selected based on their academic achievements, as well as the potential they show for advancing research in STEM in the future. New Spark fellowship development program for first-year students
The Spark Program is a seven-week course in which participants will have the opportunity to meet and learn from faculty and former students who have applied for and earned prestigious awards. The course is designed to help give students the tools they need to develop a competitive profile to apply for future fellowships.
